Aaron Spelling, who died in 2006, was an American film and television producer. His company, Spelling Televisions, is credited with 218 productions. Among Aaron‘s most prominent works are such hit TV series as Charmed, 7th Heaven, Summerland, Titans, Beverly Hills, 90210 and 2000 Malibu Road. During his lengthy career Spelling has also produced a numebr of acclaimed movies, including Hitched, Bounty Hunters, Crazy, Silver Lake, Odd Jobs and Love on the Run. Aaron was born in Dallas, in a family of Pearl and David Spelling. His father, born David Spurling, immigrated to the United States before the Second World War. Aaron was the oldest out of five children and had siblings Becky, Max, Sam and Daniel. The childhood was far from the “happiest time” for little Aaron- the boy suffered from constant bullying and mocking at school.
In the early 1950s Aaron met his future wife, Carolyn Jones. For the majority of our readers, who have never heard of her, Carolyn was a talented actress and model. In 1957 she won a Golden Globe for her role in a movie The Bachelor Party and went on to receive an Oscar as the Best Supporting Actress of 1959.
